I just finished it and I have to say, I’m a bit disappointed. Before buying "everything" I would recommend to play it first to be sure you want to invest more time into the game beyond one-two times the end credits as it's quite expensive if you unlock all the content. Decent sequel from what I can tell till now. There are small quality of life changes and mostly the same gameplay. If you like the first one, you will like this one. Would love to see doubled price and all the content available, but sadly we are living in different times and their approach simply leads to more money. real time strategy game - the game will be more fun. The argument "you can finish the game" is not really valid too, because we generally don't play games to simply reach the end credits, but to have fun and it's quite obvious that if you have many many heroes to choose from and many more units in. Iron marines store full#The full game will end up costing over 50 euros. All is there from day one, but paywalled with quite expensive prices too - 10 euro hero, 5 euro hero, 7 euro unit, etc. While I am generally OK with added content over the course of any game and asking for X price for it - here the game is basically chopped to pieces to sell it to you back. Not only this is the case here, but now they also sell you units on top of heroes. Now, sadly we all know they love to fill their games with expensive IAPs. Overall first impression is good till we reach the monetization. If you like the first one most likely you will like this one if you expect "more of the same" instead of totally different game. Besides few small additions (like double tab to mark all units in decently big circle and move them together) it's literally the same game by looks and feel. To sum it up - if you don't like the first one, you will not like that one. Tried it out as someone who have all the ironhide games + all ingame content for them, including the first iron marines.
